VEHICLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

SK RENTALS – MYKONOS

Article 1 – Subject

The present agreement concerns the rental of a vehicle from the Company to the Renter under the following terms, which are binding in their entirety.

Article 2 – Requirements

The Renter must be over 21 years of age and hold a valid driving license for at least twelve (12) months.

Article 3 – Duration

The minimum rental period is twenty-four (24) hours. A grace period of 29 minutes is applied; thereafter, a full extra day will be charged.

Article 4 – Payment and Deposit

The Company reserves the right to block a security deposit at the start of the rental. The release may take up to fourteen (14) days after the end of the rental.

Article 5 – Renter Liability

Subject to the terms and coverage of Articles 6, 7, and 8 (where applicable), the Renter bears full, exclusive, and undisputed responsibility for any damage, loss, or deterioration of the vehicle, regardless of cause. Compensation must be paid immediately to the Company, without waiting for insurance reimbursement.

Article 6 – Basic Insurance (Third Party)

The basic rental price includes only Third-Party Liability insurance (coverage for damages caused to others). It does not cover any damage to the rented vehicle itself. Damages are not covered in cases of an unauthorized driver, driving under the influence of alcohol or substances, ferry transport without written approval, damage to tires, rims, undercarriage, glass, or interior, or loss of keys and personal belongings. In all such cases, the Renter remains fully liable for the total cost of repair or replacement.

Article 7 – Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)

Limits the renter's financial liability for damage to the vehicle's bodywork to €500 (Category A at €12/day), €700 (Category B at €15/day), or €2500 (Category C at €32/day), provided a police report is submitted and the Greek Traffic Code (K.O.K.) has been fully observed. This coverage does not include damage to the undercarriage, wheels, glass, interior, loss of keys, or driving off-road, cases for which the renter remains entirely liable.

Article 8 – Full Damage Waiver (FDW / Full Zen)

The renter's financial liability for damage to the vehicle's bodywork, glass, and wheels is reduced to zero (€0 excess) at a cost of €25/day (Category A), €35/day (Category B), or €65/day (Category C). This coverage is subject to compliance with the Greek Traffic Code (K.O.K.) and the submission of a police report. It does not cover damage to the undercarriage, the interior, loss of keys, incorrect fueling, or off-road driving.

Article 9 – Accident

In case of an accident, the Renter is obliged to complete an accident report according to Article K70. A non-refundable accident administration fee of €60 applies regardless of the insurance coverage selected.

Article 10 – Fines and Plates

The Renter is solely responsible for all fines. In case of license plate removal, the rental remains active and charged until the plates are returned.

Article 11 – Fuel

The Renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level. Otherwise, fuel cost plus a €20 service fee applies. No refund is given.

Article 12 – Cleaning

If the vehicle is returned in a condition exceeding normal use and showing excessive dirt (stains, sand, hair, etc.), the Renter is obliged to pay €90 plus VAT for deep cleaning.

Article 13 – Ferry Transport

Transport by ferry is allowed only with written approval from the Company and with a charge of €20 per route. Damages during transport are not covered.

Article 14 – Key Loss

The Renter must fully cover the cost of key replacement and reprogramming.

Article 15 – Prohibited Use

Off-road driving, beach driving, or dangerous use is strictly prohibited. Any damage arising from such use is solely the Renter’s responsibility.

Article 16 – Loss of Use

The Renter is obliged to compensate the Company for the period during which the vehicle is not available for rental.

Article 17 – Payment Options & Deposit

Option A (Full Payment): Pay in full at booking for a 13% discount.

Option B (Partial Deposit): 30% deposit to confirm; 70% paid upon collection.

Article 18 – Cancellation

Up to 15 days before: 30% cancellation fee.

Less than 15 days: 50% cancellation fee.

No-show: 100% of the total booking.

Full Pre-payment: Above percentages apply to the total amount.

Deposit (30%): Strictly non-refundable in case of any cancellation

Article 19 – Prices

All prices include 24% VAT.

Article 20 – Modifications

The Company reserves the right to modify terms and prices without prior notice.

Article 21 – Jurisdiction

The courts of Syros shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 22 – Acceptance

By signing, the Renter fully and unconditionally accepts all terms.
